Assemble your very own VEGA at home with our new puzzle. The puzzle depicts the beautiful building of VEGA seen from the side in all its grandeur.
The building is located at Enghavevej in the heart of Vesterbro in Copenhagen. It is one of Denmark's most famous functionalist architectural works, created by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen. The building was completed in 1956 were it opened its doors as The People's House - the stronghold of the labor movement.
In the late '80s, the house was abandoned, neglected, and at risk of ending its days as a supermarket with all its exotic wood stripped away. Fortunately, the building was protected at the last minute, and in 1996, its doors could once again open, this time as VEGA - House of Music, a place that could be visited, loved, and filled with song.
The puzzle measures 68x48cm and consists of 1,000 pieces.
